A driven HR Specialist is sought for on-site and remote work! (Candidates must reside in the south-central PA market or be willing to relocate)

This is an entry-level role, however, the ideal person for this position has some Human Resources experience (to include benefits administration, payroll, reporting, onboarding, and other HR tasks). You should be patient and compassionate, have excellent listening skills, and be able to multitask effectively. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in development and implementation of client programs including, but not limited to, performance evaluation and job descriptions. 
  • Oversee client payroll and information systems as required.
  • Design and develop job descriptions using HRR best practices; conduct basic salary reviews and research. 
  • Conduct new hire orientations; compose employee communication and recruitment ads. 
  • Investigate client or employee concerns or questions and provide a summary of findings to the individual or group for review. 
  • Organize, coordinate and lead open enrollment and benefit processes and programs for clients. Monitor client benefits invoicing for accuracy and engage brokers as needed on enrollment issues. 
  • Complete administrative functions for clients including, but not limited to, offboarding, COBRA, FMLA and I-9 verifications.  
  • Process unemployment documentation by securing requested information from managers and submitting to the state in a timely fashion. 
  • Monitor client satisfaction with performance evaluations systems in place and implement changes to the system as necessary. 
  • Complete general clerical duties as required by tasks and in support of clients 

Requirements: 

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, or a related field required OR 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Strong ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
  • Strong knowledge of employment regulations (Federal and PA)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience with HRIS and talent management systems
